Scope

This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) governs your access and use of the BCCSA Hazard ID & Risk Assessment Guide hazguide.bccsa.ca (the “HAZARD GUIDE and related services and explains how the Hazard Guide collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you access and use the Hazard Guide. The Hazard Guide uses your personal information only for providing, improving, and protecting the Hazard Guide. By using or accessing the Hazard Guide you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent to the Hazard Guide collecting, using, and sharing your information as discussed herein. Your access and use of the Hazard Guide is at all times subject to the Hazard Guide’s Terms of Use which incorporates this Privacy Policy. Any terms we use in this Privacy Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in the Terms of Use.

Information Collection & Use

The Hazard Guide collects information for the purpose of providing users with a service to help ensure the health and safety of workers. While using the Hazard Guide, you may be asked to provide the Hazard Guide with personal information that can be used to identify you, including your name, email address, phone number, payment information, physical address, date of birth, account activity, and/or other personally identifiable information (the “Personal Information”).

Sharing

The Hazard Guide protects your Personal Information and will not share this information with non-designated third parties without your permission or unless such disclosure is necessary (as determined in the Hazard Guide’s sole discretion) to comply with court order or other legal process or to protect the rights, property, and/or safety of the Hazard Guide or any third party.

The Hazard Guide use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, but you agree that your submission of such information is at your sole risk, and you hereby release the Hazard Guide from any and all liability to you for any loss or liability relating to such information in any way.

Changes To This Privacy Policy

The Hazard Guide reserves the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time, and will post the most current version on the Hazard Guide Website. Your continued use of the Hazard Guide after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on the Hazard Guide Website will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
