Hazard Guide
Identifying, Assessing, and Controlling Hazards

2.2   Who Could Be Affected and How

For every identified hazard, specify who could be at risk. This helps in tailoring your risk control measures. Consult your workers to ensure you have noticed all groups. Special attention should be given to:

  • New and young workers
  • Temporary staff
  • Contractors
  • Lone workers
  • Visitors and maintenance workers
  • The general public, if applicable
  • Workers from other businesses sharing your workspace
